Tuesday 1st to Saturday 19th October

Textiles on Tuesdays is a contemporary textile group which meets regularly to share and experiment with new ideas. Each of the 12 artists has their own unique style and they work in their own individual way, producing a range of creations. Members explore their own interests in their preferred medium which includes hand stitching, machine embroidery, collage, mixed media and print.

Behind Everest: Ruth Mallory's Story, a lecture by Kate Nicholson

Wednesday 9th October, 7.30pm at St Peter & Paul’s Church, Godalming

Kate Nicholson will be talking about her new book Behind Everest: Ruth Mallory's Story. This fascinating story is not to be missed!

You are invited to come and meet the team from Munstead Wood and talk about the future of Gertrude Jekyll’s former home. If you are available, just drop in and find using the Gertrude Jekyll gallery on the ground floor. The sessions will be very informal and we would love to see you.

Our View: Photography from a Female Perspective

This exhibition is the work of six ladies who came together through Cranleigh Camera Club. Every individual's perspective and experiences are unique. However, while gender can be a factor in shaping a photographer’s perspective, it is only one of many factors that can influence how an individual views and interprets the world around them.

The Centenary of Godalming Operatic Society

Tuesday 12th to Saturday 30th November

Godalming Operatic Society was founded in 1924 and their first production was Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Yeomen of the Guard in February 1925. As a significant part of their Centenary celebration the exhibition will illustrate how the Society has been at the forefront of Godalming’s rich musical heritage since 1925.
